Innocence (Gyul-Baek)
At her husband's funeral, Hwa-Ja (Bae Jong-Ok) is accused of poisoning guests with makgeolli, including Mayor Choo (Heo Jun-Ho). With his memory fading due to Alzheimer's, he is unable to defend himself. Her daughter, Jung-In (Shin Hye-Sun), a successful lawyer who is traumatized by her past, returns to her hometown to prove her mother's chastity. In his search for the truth, he must confront childhood ghosts and a dark conspiracy.
