Superman: Unbound
When Lois Lane becomes a hostage in a dogfight between terrorists and an unpredictable Supergirl, Superman appears to save her. However, their personal conflict about Clark Kent and Lois' secret relationship is interrupted when a new threat emerges: Brainiac, a cyborg creature who has destroyed planets, including the Kryptonian city of Kandor. With the help of a traumatized Supergirl, Superman tracks Brainiac into space, only to be caught and witness his cruelty firsthand. Trapped in a miniaturized Kandor, Superman encounters a missing family and plans an escape. Back on Earth, an epic battle erupts in Metropolis, where Superman must defeat Brainiac before he destroys the planet. But is this victory really the end?
