In the summer of 1945, eight children who survived the Gross-Rosen concentration camp were placed in a remote palace in the middle of the forest. Hanka, a former prisoner himself, becomes their caretaker. After experiencing the cruelty of war, they slowly try to knit together the remains of their childhood. However, terror strikes again—hungry SS camp dogs lurk in the forest, ready to pounce. The children's survival instincts were tested again. Can they escape the real monster?
